Kona’s original manta night dive and snorkel with Jack’s Diving Locker (since 1981). Afternoon reef / garden-eel dive or snorkel, sunset break with a light meal, then a night descent to watch manta rays feed in the lights. About 6 hours. Certified divers and snorkelers welcome (separate in-water groups).
First dive or snorkel on the Kona reef, including a large colony of endemic Hawaiian garden eels.
Come up for a Hawaiian sunset, sandwich, juice, and water.
Descend or float in the lights as manta rays glide in to feed on plankton. Lights provided.
The same trip serves certified divers and snorkelers. Divers must show certification. Minimums: 4 guests, with at least 2 divers per guide and 2 snorkelers per guide. Snorkel-only guests can also look at the separate Manta Night Snorkel item; this listing is the combined Manta Dive & Snorkel Trip.
About 6 hours. Seasonal times: April 1–September 30 typically 3:30–9:30pm; October 1–March 31 typically 3:00–9:00pm (confirm at booking).

Certified divers must show a certification card. Snorkelers should have basic swimming skills and be comfortable in the ocean. Divers and snorkelers are in separate in-water groups.
